IR Tech is actively engaged in implementing an integrated communications plan to support Logistics Modernization (LM) as a major change management initiative within the Marine Corps. By using a specialized process and capitalizing on information discovery, workshop planning and facilitation, and communications campaigning fundamentals, We are helping the Marine Corps to implement an aggressive communications plan. By using a two-tiered process, beginning with a structured plan that identified major stakeholders and process owners, crafted messages and themes, and identified enterprise spokespersons, the procedure established a departure point for introducing LM as an enterprise initiative and a leading enabler for change. Secondly, the planning process integrated change management and communications campaigning and targeted audiences at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels using a well designed inventory of tools and tactics to deliver a consistent, credible, and believable flow of information necessary to introduce LM. Included in the campaigning process are an aggressive media plan and an outside-in implementation procedures that utilizes an effective website, while engaging spokespersons and change agents at various levels throughout the enterprise. The process depends on appropriate Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) to evaluate progress with the program and determine the effectiveness of messaging and internal communication strategies. The communications campaign is engaging in the training for highly specialized change agents positioned within the operating forces. This training familiarization is intended to use the basic activities outlined in communications campaigning to facilitate the necessary change associated with LM.
