IR Tech conceived of, specified requirements for, designed and developed a groupware database tool to significantly enhance the productivity and efficiency of participants at Norway Air-Land Marine Expeditionary Brigade and Maritime Prepositioning Force planning conferences. The tool allows for concurrent and parallel work across a network during the conference and displays status to all members and the conference leaders. The resulting information is then immediately available on to participants and can be presented on the web. Continued work will provide a full-featured web database for remote participation and improved preparation, eliminating the passing of spreadsheets and files back and forth. IR Tech is also supporting the logistics actual planning process with functional expertise as well as technical support.
