The primary objective of this project was to update the Corporate Logistics Information Resource Plan (CORP LOG IR). That baseline document addressed the information resource requirements and strategy for the major programs that were defined in the Logistics Community Manager Charter for FY00. The intent of Version 1.0 was to define the following:

• Current logistics information resource environment for joint systems and for service and agency logistics infrastructure
• End-state logistics information resource environment primarily driven by the DoD Logistics Strategic Plan for FY2000
• Implementation strategies for LCM deliverables that were agreed upon by Logistics Information Requirements and Resources Council (LIRRC) and approved by Logistics Information Board (LIB).

IR Tech personnel helped develop version 1.0 and as part of this effort are providing leadership to the overall update effort. This includes providing strategic direction to the thought and vision of the new Plan and orienting the focus and alignment to ensure the Plan better meets today’s DoD goals and objectives. IR Tech also supported the 2001 Annual Logistics Community Management Forum. These services included theming for the forum, program organization, guest speaker selection, track administration, guest panel organization, and warfighter representation. Other support included organization of material and supporting information focusing on the warfighter as a principal component to the logistics solution. Also providing critical consulting services to the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense, Logistics (DUSDL) Office for logistics lifecycle management.
