IR Tech was engaged in 2001 under a small business set aside to initiate and capture funding in the POM for the GCSS-MC Program. The objectives of instituting GCSS-MC as a formal acquisition program and capturing at least $120 million in POM-04 funding were successfully established. Since then IR Tech has been providing full spectrum Systems Engineering and Technical Support (SETA) and verification and validation (V&V) services in addition to technical, analytical, system engineering, risk management, logistics, information assurance, test support, and technical management and administration to the Program. Traditionally, IR Tech has employed two thirds to three quarters of the support staff under this contract and provides leadership in the areas of functional subject matter expertise, requirements management, test, portfolio management, systems engineering, risk management, RICE Team management and data analysis/interface specification, post-deployment systems support, IT infrastructure analysis, deployment support and acquisition logistics. Our staff also provided organizational Change Management, Communications Planning and Transformation Planning. Our staff reviewed over 1500 documents generated by the systems integrator related all phases of systems integration and implementation. IR Tech represents industry best qualifications for ERPS Engineering and V&V. Our products and services delivered to GCSS-MC consistently enabled the program to maintain momentum and satisfy complex requirements for DoD 5000 Acquisition Management activities. In support of PM GCSS-MC, we developed strategies and plans and delivered full spectrum support to program documentation activities necessary to advance the program from pre-concept status to the threshold of Milestone C compliance. Our staff has reviewed and updated over 100 functional requirements documents produced by Oracle Corporation using the standard AIM process. Many of these documents will be used to drive changes to existing Marine Corps Orders, policy decisions and technical publications required to sustain successful program implementation and fielding. IR Tech personnel lead the GCSS-MC Block One requirements and design processes as well as providing Milestone Management for the Marine Corps’ largest IT investment program. |
