IR Tech developed the web based PC MIMMS in 2006 and is currently under contract to enhance and maintain PC MIMMS. This system provides the Marine Corps with a deployable ground supply and maintenance capability and a front end to MIMMS within garrison. The system provides management reports that assist the user in identifying problems and taking corrective actions. As complete implementation occurs all management and user personnel at every level of command will be able to follow the progress of the data cleansing activities throughout the Marine Corps. This will enable converting more and more accurate data to GCSS-MC as the implementation progresses. IR Tech also provides MIMMS Tier 2/3 help desk support for higher level issues and user requests regarding MIMMS.

IR Tech re-engineered PC MIMMS to a Java and Oracle platform. PC MIMMS is web-based and operates as a light-weight client on NMCI desktops. The latest version of PC MIMMS includes our recommended enhancements which will save the Marine Corps approximately $42 million a year in maintenance personnel productivity improvements. The new versions have been deployed to over 4,000 users world-wide and have proven to be stable and responsive. IR Tech recently upgraded the systems to operate as multi-user system on Marine Corps servers. This will allow for ease of integration, real-time data sharing and automated to feeds to external systems. The server version is designed to operate under low bandwidth/high latency network conditions. The server version, when fully deployed is expected to yield another $10 to $20 million a year in supply and maintenance personnel productivity improvements.

IR Tech successfully works in many environments and fully supports testing and reporting requirements for a given project. In many engagements, We produce and execute a test plan for a work product, however, in many situations we have followed GFM testing materials, including test plans, requirements, and specialized environments. IR Tech has tested software modifications and products to ensure proper functionality, execution, and integration into target environments. For PC MIMMS, IR Tech performs frequent tests to ensure software is functioning in CONUS data center and OCONUS fielded environments. This testing includes system validation, regression testing, and performance testing for system optimization.
